Smart solutions for every need

PBS Composer in it's standard edition is a content management system that allows you to control your web site's contents (text, pictures, tables etc.).

The needs between organisations and companies differ greatly and we at PBS, with many years experience of web publishing, have come up with the perfect solution to this challenge. You can alter the size of your web site (number of pages, number of additional modules, number of languages). We are pretty certain that you and your organisation will find interest in at least a couple of the modules that we can offer. If you have a specifi need, we will help you quickly to find a custom made solution to your problem. Below you can find a number of our standard modules.

Statistics module

The statistics module helps you keep track of the web sites visitors. This way you can make follow-ups on the web site's traffic of visitors and relate it to other events, e.g. marketing campaigns. The statistics module is run through the central adminiostration interface (via your regular web browser), which means that the information is not public.

News module

A dynamic module that allows the site administrator to feed news via the administrative interface. The texts and pictures are formatted according to the same standards as are they in the main tool. The difference is that you can present the news in different places of the web site. The visitor will see the headline and the date when the news have been published. You can also set a time limit for the presentation of the specific hedalines.

News letter

Using the news letter module, visitors can sign up for subscriptions of news. By submitting their e-mail addresses, the visitors will automatically receive e-mails containing the latest news that are published. The news letter module can be obtained separately from the news module.

I-Center

iCenter is a refined version of the news letter module. Here the site administrator can choose which way the visitors shall receive the information they have subscribed to. There is a choice between e-mail, SMS-messages and MMS-messages when sending out the information to the recipients. The administrator can also create different groups of recipients. This module is recommended together with the news module.

Guest book

A guest book opens a dialogue between the visitors and the site administrator. The guest book is available via the administration interface, which makes it possible to censor disturbing comments. This module can also work as a simple kind of discussion forum, if you don't have to keep up different discussion threads.

Online enquiry

The online enquiry makes it possible for the site administrator to publish a simple question with multiple choice answers. The administrator can, of course, choose which question to ask and which the answers should be. The questions can concern product assortment, site content or other up to date issues. The enquiry ensures total anonymity for the visitors.

Discussion forum

An advanced and very competent forum with the possibility to start discussions following multiple "threads" or topics. The administrator is the only person who can start a specific discussion topic and he can also control which comments that are to be published.

Web form

With a smart web form, visitors can send information to the site administrator without having to open their e-mail programmes. The form is created and updated by the administrator and can be placed anywhere in the web site using drag'n'drop-functions.

Search enginge

The search engine allows the visitor to look for specific information to be found in the web site, if necessary in different languages. The search engine builds on a database, which makes it possible for the administrator to define which kinds of data to search for.

Visitor counter

A public visitor counter shows how many visitors the web site has had since it started. If the administrator prefers, the counter can also be non-public, which makes the information accessible only for the site administrator.

Shopping module

If you want a web site where the visitor can purchase products or services, you can choose the optional shopping module. The visitor can place his purchases in a virtual shopping cart and go to the virtual cash point. Purchases are handled through a number of simple mouse clicks.

Online booking

Using PBS Composer's online booking module, you can let your visitors make online bookings directly on the Internet. Everything is then handled via dynamic calendars and date sheets. As site administrator, you can of course as well change as delete bookings and all requests must be approved of by you before they are published on the web site.

Extranet

The extranet gives your organisation the possibility to publish information that is to be protected by a separate password and username. One or more pages can be used as your oganisation's extranet.

Register module

The register module lets you present a number of objects with words and pictures on your web site. All objects are presented in a list, presenting a headline and a picture for each object. By clicking one of the objects in the list, the visitor gets the total information about the object.

Authority administration

For larger companies and organisations there might be a need to control which persons have access to updating and/or publishing the contents of the web site. Administrators can hand out new user names and passwords and they can also set the authority levels for the users.
